Good Earth Coffeehouse set to open at select Indigo locations across the country
TORONTO, March 31, 2022 /CNW/ – Indigo (TSX: IDG), from Canada leader in bookstores and the art of living, is delighted to announce a new partnership with Good Earth Cafes Ltd to bring their Coffeehouse experience to select locations in the communities of Canada. This partnership marks the beginning of Indigo’s intention to reinvent and convert its available coffee spaces, with a market-by-market, and sometimes store-by-store approach, providing customers with regional relevance and supporting local businesses. The focus will be on exceptional customer experience, delicious food and beverages, and partnering with like-minded organizations across the country.

Founder Nan Eskenazi opened the first Good Earth Coffeehouse in 1991 in Calgary, AB and currently operates over 40 locations in six Canadian provinces. Good Earth Coffeehouse was founded on the principle that a cafe can and should be a community gathering place and provide an elevated dining experience. Good Earth’s menu of handcrafted, ethically sourced coffees and espressos is based on the Italian tradition of espresso drinks, chosen for their integrity, simplicity and authenticity. The beverage menu also includes a variety of cold beverages, including dairy-free smoothies, cold drinks, tea lemonades, fresh juices, and seasonal concoctions. Food is prepared daily from baked goods and hot breakfast items, hearty soups and stews, fresh salads, panini, flatbreads and desserts.
