Northern is expected to welcome children from Leeds Children’s Hospital this weekend.
Nineteen children from the hospital will be special guests in the Betfred Super League Grand Final this weekend, which is due to take place on September 24, 2022.
Accompanied by NHS staff and their parents, the children will travel to Old Trafford to see Leeds Rhinos take on St Helens thanks to Super League and rail operator Northern.
As well as watching the game, children will receive a special Robbie Burrows jersey and their parents will receive a copy of Robbie’s book – Too Many Reasons To Live.
Northern Regional Manager Tony Baxter said: “We have established a great relationship with Leeds Children’s Hospital and through our partnership with Betfred Super League we have been delighted to be able to offer children and their parents a extra special day.”
Super League Commercial Director Rhodri Jones said: “We are delighted to be able to offer the children, parents and staff of Leeds Children’s Hospital a special invitation to the 25th Betfred Super League Grand Final. We would also like to thank our partners Northern and Leeds Rhinos for helping to make this special moment possible.”
