Madden NFL 23 set to release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, PS5 and Windows PC on August 19. Those who qualify for early access to the game will be able to start playing on August 16.

In traditional Madden fashion, each new game in the series comes with a new cover athlete. With Madden 22, two NFL athletes graced the cover at the same time. Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas Chiefs.
Madden 23 will honor Hall of Fame legend John Madden on its cover. Madden died on December 28, 2021, at the age of 85. As a tribute to its namesake, there’s no better person to host this year’s episode than John Madden.
