Different editions of Pac-Man World Re-Pac?

During the Nintendo Direct Mini, Bandai Namco announced a remake of the old PS1 classic Pac-Man World. This modernized classic would be called Pac-Man World Re-Pac. Would this modern classic come with different Pac-Man World Re-Pac editions?

Chogokin Bundle

There is currently only one edition of Pac-Man World Re-Pac. The Chogokin Black Chrome Pack. This bundle includes the game, a limited edition Chrome Noir Chogokin figure, and a Chrome Noir Chogokin game skin.

Original world of Pacman

The original Pacman World was released for the Playstation 1 in 1999. The game is a 3D platformer surrounding Pac-Man trying to rescue his friends and family, who have been kidnapped by the ghosts. Players play as Pac-Man through six worlds to find and save them all. These six worlds are Pirate, Ruins, Space, Funhouse, Factory, and Mansion. Within each of these worlds is a unique boss battle.

Pac-Man will do more than just eat compared to his 2D counterpart. In this 3D version of Pac-Man, he will have skills such as butt bounce, revolution roll, hover jump, etc. while still collecting his Pac-Dots and fruits. He will also be able to collect power-ups throughout the game. Some of these powers may include Pac-Man becoming invincible, walking underwater in a chrome suit, and even becoming mega Pac-Man to defeat enemy ghosts.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on August 26, 2022

This isn’t the first time Pac-Man World has received a remaster. The second remake of the title actually took place in 2004. This time, it was actually the Game Boy Advance that received it. Back in 2013, PlayStation Network was running a feature at the time that allowed Playstation users to play old classic Playstation games. This includes Pac-Man World. It was dubbed PSOne Classics. After Pac-Man World, there were two sequels. These were Pac-Man World 2 and Pac-Man World 3. There was even a racing spin-off, Pac-Man World Rally.
