Digital Marketing Manager, Children’s Book Publisher, London – London

Our client, an award-winning independent publisher of children’s books, asked us to assist them in their search for a talented digital marketer based in their London office.

This is an exciting role as the Digital Marketing Officer plays a key role in the marketing team, overseeing the company’s digital marketing strategy and online presence to ensure headline campaigns keys provide online awareness and exposure to a growing range of readers and consumers.

This publisher has long published many award-winning authors, illustrators, and brands and has created a very collegial, non-corporate book publishing work environment.

You will be the voice of the digital marketing department and have a broad mandate in the role of helping to develop and implement an online digital marketing strategy for physical and e-books for all editions and titles .

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will report to the Head of Marketing and manage all aspects of digital marketing, from promoting books via social media to planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns, as well as overseeing the operation of the Company’s website.

Your role is also to be the key point of contact for digital marketing throughout the company, as well as communicating with authors and illustrators and internal service, including sales, public relations, publishing and of course your marketing colleagues.

We’re looking for a creative, business-minded digital marketer, someone who will appreciate the chance to apply their skills to book promotion. Ideally, you will have relevant experience marketing children’s brands, whether in the publishing industry or perhaps the wider entertainment industry, and a passion for promoting children’s books in all age groups.

You will be based in the publishers’ London offices with very easy access to all central tube stations and all major surface railways. There is a competitive salary and benefits. which will of course depend on the level of experience you bring to the position.
