As winter continues to deposit snow in front of our doors, take the opportunity to make yourself comfortable with even more books by local authors while waiting for the return of spring. Recently, five Connecticut authors released new books covering everything from local music history to closet secrets and online drama.
Greenwich bestselling author MJ Rose has teamed up with Randy Susan Meyers to write ‘The Fashion Orphans’, which was released on February 1. After the death of their mother, two stepsisters discover that their mother left them her closet of designer clothes. As they go through their mother’s belongings, they learn more about their mother and how notes found in her clothes seem to advise them from the grave.

At the end of December, Robert L. Dilenschneider of Darien published his book “NAILING IT: How History’s Awesome Twentysomethings Got It Together”. His book profiles 25 personalities who have overcome obstacles to plan their way to successful careers.
Madison resident Rich Flanders will publish a memoir in late January.

Madison actor Rich Flanders shared an account of his decades of acting and the scenic road his love story took in his memoir “Under the Great Elm: A Life of Luck & Wonder” in January. In his memoir, Flanders recounts how he fell in love with his wife 45 years before they could have their happily ever after.
