Garmin has launched three new limited-edition Instinct 2 Solar smartwatches in Malaysia, featuring color themes inspired by characters from the hit anime and manga series A piece. The trio includes the Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro editions of the 45mm Instinct 2, and a Tony Tony Chopper-themed 40mm Instinct 2S.
On the design side, the three Instinct 2 Solar One Piece limited edition watches are indifferent to their basic models, so the only thing that sets them apart are their color themes. The Monkey D. Luffy edition comes with an overall black theme with gold and red accents, while the Roronoa Zoro version comes with an olive body with turquoise accents and camouflage-themed straps. Meanwhile, the Tony Tony Chopper edition of the Garmin Instinct 2S Solar sports a bright pink, white, and teal colored body, along with light pink straps decorated with sakura patterns. Each device also features unique watch faces that contain skull logos of their respective characters.

There’s no hardware change for the three smartwatches, so here’s a rundown of their specs – specifically the solar-powered versions of the Instinct 2 and 2S. Both models come with monochrome, sunlight-viewable and transflective pixel-based displays, as well as support for multi-satellite positioning (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo), Bluetooth connectivity, Android and iOS compatibility, and are water resistant to 10 ATM.

You can also expect built-in smartwatch features like notifications and music playback controls, a variety of sensors including heart rate and blood oxygen levels, and plenty of health features. and workouts such as sleep tracking, female health monitoring and more. Garmin touts the solar-powered variants of the watches to offer nearly unlimited battery life, provided they receive sufficient exposure to sunlight.
The new limited-edition Garmin Instinct 2 Solar One Piece watches will go on sale in Malaysia on May 5, 2022, in commemoration of the birthday of protagonist Monkey D. Luffy. All three models are priced at RM2,299 (RM200 more than the base versions), available at all Garmin stores nationwide, its official stores on Lazada and Shopas good as AECO Online Store.
