AURORA, Colo. – Governor Jared Polis joined Dr. David Brumbaugh, Chief Medical Officer of Colorado Children’s Hospital, to visit children at Colorado Children’s Hospital in Aurora as they received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in a clinic for children ages 5-11.

“It was great to see some of our younger Coloradans protect themselves from this virus and to know that we are so much closer to ending the pandemic,” Governor Polis said. “As the father of two children who will receive their vaccines tomorrow, I know the relief and joy that other parents felt today. I want to thank all the kids who had a chance to step up to help Colorado. »
