Resolute, untamed and unspeakable. While they may sound like the names of three classic British warships, they’re actually the names Mini has given to three new special-edition packages.
If there’s one thing Mini is known for, it’s that it gives buyers plenty of opportunities to customize their vehicles. One way to do this is with the special editions that the brand rolls out frequently. But, until now, it only offered one at a time. This time they are available on all models of the brand’s product line.
“Over the past 20 years, we’ve always had a ‘special edition’ available, whether it ‘pays homage’ to the brand’s racing history or to the original Mini launched in 1959,” said Shirley Nguyen, head of product planning for Mini USA, in a media briefing The three new models offer the opportunity for all buyers to “expand their personality and make their Mini unique.”

The Resolute Edition covers all the different versions of the Mini Hardtop. That includes the two- and four-door as well as the convertible and the all-electric Mini Cooper SE.
All Resolute models start with a Rebel Green exterior, a color previously offered only on John Cooper Works models. It’s offset by a Pepper White roof finisher and accents, including mirror caps. Additional design features, including the headlight surround, grille and door handles, are done in Resolute Bronze. Specific models get unique color combinations.
There are subtle differences, however, depending on the specific body. With the Resolute Edition Mini Convertible, for example, the mirror caps and fabric tops are finished in black. And there are black stripes near the windows on the two- and four-door Hardtop models. The all-electric Cooper SE gets 17-inch aero alloy wheels, rather than the 18-inch Pulse Spoke Black alloy wheels on other Resolute editions.
Interiors feature sports seats in Black Pearl or Light Checkerboard and Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheels. They add details like ambient LED lighting and illuminated door handles. Resolute models also get the latest Mini infotainment system and an 8.8-inch touchscreen.
Unpublished edition
The Mini Untold Edition is based on all three versions of the Clubman, and it’s a much-needed attention for a compact wagon that hasn’t had a major update since 2016 and some sort of facelift. since 2019.
Each Untold model is colored sage green, with dark green outlines on the lower body, rather than the usual black. Five narrow sport stripes run across the bonnet and roof, with the side vents featuring stripes applied with a 3D printing process. Piano Black is applied to exterior trim, including door handles and exhaust pipes. Countless models roll on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, they get sage green leather sport seats and light colored stitching and piping. Add illuminated decorative strips and sport Nappa leather-trimmed steering wheels.
The Untold Pack is the priciest of the three Special Editions, and it includes high-end features such as adaptive LED headlights and Mini drive mode selector.
wild edition
The third package, dubbed Mini Untamed, focused on the Countryman, the scaled-down SUV that is the British brand’s most popular product line.
All trims, including the Cooper S and ALL4, are finished in Momentum Gray metallic paint, including accent pieces such as the lower air intake and side skirts. The roof, mirror caps and roof rails are finished in black. Four diagonal stripes, each in Frozen Bluestone, run along the lower half of the doors. Untamed models come with 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, Untamed models are finished in blue and green tones, including the leather sports seats. Landscape patterns accent decorative trim, inside and out.
