Office of Cultural Affairs online bookstore launches annual Exquisite Gifts promotion for book purchases and 10% off selected items

MACAU, September 28 – The online bookstore launched by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) has been well received by local and foreign readers since its inception. As a thank you for reader support, an annual promotion will run from October 1-31. Readers can receive, through each transaction, a set of exquisite bookmarks from Jao Tsung-I Academy for any book purchase on the online bookstore during the above-mentioned period. Gifts are available while supplies last. Plus, readers can enjoy 10% off a variety of new books and select publications, plus 50% and 10% off back issues and recent issues of Culture Reviewrespectively.

IC offers more than 380 types of books and periodicals on the online bookstore, including publications in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Portuguese and English, with a rich and diverse range of categories, including history, literature, visual arts, performing arts, culture and academic research and studies. IC is committed to providing convenient and efficient services for readers to select and purchase publications. Local readers can also choose to pick up their books in person at IC’s 13 public libraries (located in the Macau Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane), while other recipients outside of Macau can request delivery of publications via Macau Express Mail Service (EMS).
