Penske Truck Leasing has opened a brand new state-of-the-art facility in Cranbury, New Jersey. Located at 2682 US 130 North near exits 8 and 8A of the NJ Turnpike and US Route 1, it is the first-ever above-ground construction in its South Plainfield district. At this location, Penske offers consumer and commercial truck rentals, full-service truck rentals, and contract fleet truck maintenance. It is also equipped with the company’s proprietary all-digital, voice-activated preventive maintenance process and Penske Digital Experience Solutions, which help customers take advantage of Penske technology as well as on-board technology systems (ELD) options. , telematics, on-board cameras, etc.).
The location is 22,995 square feet and sits on 9.62 acres. It features five drive-thru bays with 10 service areas and is complemented by 10 additional covered service areas hugging the facility. It also features an automated wash bay and a full-service three-way fuel island.
Penske currently employs more than 40 associates in the new plant and hires truck technicians, refueling and wash dock attendants, customer service representatives and drivers locally and nationally.
