SHEDIR COLLECTION – UMILTA 36 – 360 MAGAZINE

Shedir Collection announces the opening of Umiltà 36 in the heart of Rome on August 18, 2022.

Umiltà 36 is the latest addition to the Shedir Collection portfolio of historic hotels built for the modern traveler. Located a few steps from the famous Trevi Fountain, the hotel embodies the majesty of Roman architecture with its style, luxury and refinement. The building was restored to its original splendor thanks to a renovation process that took more than 18 months led by the studio CaberlonCaroppi. The architects focused on the original heights of the ceilings and the vast unique spaces that culminate in the Great Hall – where the lobby is located – and highlighted the original marble staircase that leads to the upper floors.

The property has 47 rooms, a literary cafe set up in the lobby lounge, a rooftop lounge and bar with stunning views of the Eternal City, and the on-site Argentinian restaurant, El Porteño. In addition, Umiltà 36 has a large meeting room, with a maximum capacity of 30 people, and a state-of-the-art gymnasium.

The originality of the style, unaffected by the passage of time, is inspired by the elegance of the 50s, harmoniously blending minimalism with warm surfaces and hues, achieving the perfect balance between eccentricity and intimacy.

Claudio Ceccherelli, CEO of Shedir Collection comments, “We are extremely excited to announce the recent opening of Umiltà 36 and to enhance our Roman offering for different and unique hospitality experiences. Our new jewel will be rooted in the principles of simplicity, freshness and cultural sophistication, while creating an evergreen sense of understated luxury.
