Simon Rogan & The Lakes Distillery launch The Whiskymaker’s Editions Reflections

A renowned Michelin-starred chef looks back on 20 years of success with a new limited-edition whisky.

In collaboration with Simon Rogan, owner of the Lake District restaurants, including three Michelin starred L’Enclume, Rogan & Co and Henrock, as well as destinations in London and Hong Kong, The Lakes Distillery has crafted a limited edition single malt whiskey to celebrating 20 years of the band’s past accomplishments, current triumphs and endless possibilities that lie ahead.

The Whiskymaker’s Editions Reflections is out today (September 23).

Reflecting an evolutionary journey from opening Simon’s first restaurant, L’Enclume, to establishing his Cartmel Valley “Our Farm” a few years later, to what is now his portfolio of eight restaurants on two continents, The Whiskymaker’s Editions Reflections is a modern take on a classic, inspired by a moment of contemplation amidst the natural beauty of the Lake District.

“Working with The Lakes Distillery on this special collaboration has been an absolute pleasure, especially as we have created something that celebrates our beautiful home in the Lake District.

“Reflections is not only an embodiment of The Lakes, but also a moment of gratitude and reflection on what has been achieved over the past two decades alongside all we have to look forward to,” said Simon Rogan.

Evoking the autumnal character of the Lake District, on tasting Reflections, pumpkin spice and fragrant woody spices evolve into applesauce, warming cinnamon and a long, reflective finish.

Released at 54 percent ABV, each bottle is unchill-filtered, natural-colored, and available at Simon Rogan’s restaurants in LakesDistillery.comand as part of the November’s Home by Simon Rogan menu.

The Lakes Distillery sits on the shores of Lake Bassenthwaite, near Keswick, and has twice been named one of ‘one of eight distilleries to visit before you die’ by the World Whiskey Day campaign.
