While PC gamers have been enjoying the game for two years, a TemTem release date is finally announced for consoles leaving its early access phase. Console players can now choose between the different editions of TemTem to start the journey in style.
For console players who haven’t heard of Temtem before, consider Pokemon but on a massive multiplayer level. In TemTem, players will explore 6 vast islands of the Airborne Archipelago, discover new TemTem species, catch them, battle other tamers, and even customize their own home.
Special editions
Crema, Humble Games, and Final Boss Bundle have come together to present players with the Temtem Collector’s Edition bundle. Here’s what’s in the box:
- 6″ Temtem Starter Statue Diorama Featuring Crystle, Smazee, and Houchic
- 3 TemCard replicas with Gharunder, Kinu and Shuine
- Set of 3 iron-on patches embroidered with Fomu, Oree and Saipat
- Set of 3 soft enamel pins featuring Crystle, Smazee and Houchic
There are special rewards for pre-ordering the standard edition of TemTem as well as a deluxe edition. The bonus cosmetic content, however, is to be revealed at a later date and made available when Temtem launches.
Features
TemTem is a massively multiplayer experience. Friends or other players from all over the world can join you on your many adventures. If TemTem battles with other players aren’t on the agenda, players can join forces for a co-op adventure. With a friend, players can work together for the next mission, catch a new Temtem, complete a route, or battle a TemTem boss.
If players decide not to work together, a competitive mode is available to participate. How competitive competition works, players will start by choosing 8 Temtem and the pick and ban phase will begin. Once all choices and bans are done, the TemTem battle begins.
After two years of early access on PC, Humble Games and Crema are officially releasing the final version of their game. At launch, new players will be able to experience new features, such as seasons, the last island in the archipelago, and new weekly quests. On September 6, TemTem will move from its early access phase to the final version for PC players.
While pre-orders for Xbox are currently underway for the title, Nintendo Switch pre-orders are being made available.
