Royal Enfield has introduced the 120th anniversary editions of its popular 650 twin motorcycles – the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 – at EICMA 2021. There will be a limited production run of just 480 units of the two 650 cc motorcycles, with Royal Enfield awarding 120 units each for India, Europe, the Americas and Southeast Asia.
Both Royal Enfield 650 motorcycles feature a black-chrome color scheme, with the engine, muffler and other elements finished in hand-painted black stripes, while their die-cast brass tank badges would pay homage to the 120 years of the brand. long and rich legacy. Mechanically, both motorcycles remain the same as motorcycles already on sale worldwide. The motorcycles will also be fitted with a range of genuine motorcycle accessories such as mosquito nets, engine guards, heel guards, touring and handlebar mirrors, among others, in a black disguise to complete the general design.
In India, the 120th Anniversary Edition twins will be made available via a limited-time online sale on December 6, 2021, on the brand’s website, with registrations for the sale already underway.
There has been no mention of the price of the two bikes at this stage, but RE said details of the sales process will be shared directly to registered email addresses.
